Our Microsoft Windows based control system allows for the control of print queues throughout the organisation. The main function means that the overall cost of printing can be managed more closely.

The concept is that the basic user does not care about where or how their print job is outputted, but the Financial Controller / Director or Departmental Head certainly does.

Job Routing

The re-direction of jobs to the correct printer - basically to ensure the jobs go to the most cost effective device for printing, designated by IT and management.

Job Splitting

Meet your peak period demands and print deadlines by splitting jobs across any number of printers. Reduce the need for expensive production printers. For example, create a "virtual" 240 page per minute printer by splitting a job over 6 x 40 page per minute printers.

Job Ticketing - Avoid Production Errors

The Job Ticketer gives operators detailed set up instructions for stationary, finishing and special requirements. A helpful function would be that of continuous, real-time editing of the Job Ticket by the designated operator.

This means, if a printer in the CRD is broken, then a note can be inserted onto the ticket denoting 'Machine X is currently out of service - please expect print jobs to be two days late.' This means that all users of the Job Ticket would then be aware of any problems and can adjust accordingly without being disappointed at a later date.
